Eligibility for the Business Innovation & Investment Permanent Visa (subclass 888)

Applicants must:
hold a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) (subclass 188) visa in the Entrepreneur stream, and have held the visa continuously for 4 years
meet certain business and investment requirements related to their provisional visa
have a current nomination from an Australian state or territory, or Austrade
have at least functional English if they didn’t pay a second instalment of the visa application charge for their subclass 188 visa
meet the relevant character and health requirements
not have had a visa cancelled or refused
have paid or made arrangements to pay back any money owed to the Australian government
