Applicants must:
have received a nomination by an Australian State or Territory government after lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the SkillSelect system and subsequently an invitation to apply for this visa
be below 55 years in age. Older applicants may be accepted by a state or territory if the applicant’s investment will be of exceptional economic benefit.
have at least competent English
must be undertaking, or proposing to undertake, a complying entrepreneur activity in Australia.They must have a genuine intention to continue this activity.
receive funding from an approved entity
meet the relevant character and health requirements
not have had a visa cancelled or refused
have paid or made arrangements to pay back any money owed to the Australian government
