What does the Sponsored Family Stream Subclass 600 visa visa allow you to do?
Visa holders can visit Australia for tourism or to visit family and friends or for any non business or non medical purposes. They are allowed to study or train upto three months in total but they cannot work in Australia.
Eligibility for the Tourist Stream Subclass 600 visa
- Applicants must be sponsored either by a eligible family member or by an Australian government official.
- They must meet the necessary health and character requirements and have access to sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay in Australia.
- Any money that the visa applicant or their family members owe the Australian government must be paid back.
- It is also recommended that the visa holder arranges for adequate health insurance to cover any unforeseen medical treatment they may need in Australia.
